This California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) Notice at Collection provides California residents with the categories of personal information to be collected, the purposes for which the personal information is collected or used, and whether that information is sold or shared.

Sensitive Personal Information

Pennymac only uses or discloses sensitive personal information for the following purposes:

  • Originate or service a loan;
  • Detect security incidents that compromise the availability, authenticity, integrity, and confidentiality of stored or transmitted personal information;
  • Resist malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions directed at Pennymac to prosecute those responsible for those actions; or
  • Ensure the physical safety of natural persons.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Pennymac does not sell personal information.

In the preceding 12 months, Pennymac has shared identifiers and internet or other electronic network activity with online analytics third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention Criteria

The length of time that we intend to retain each category of personal information depends on (i) applicable legal and regulatory requirements (ii) whether we need to retain the information for a business purpose(s) and/or (iii) whether you exercised your right, subject to certain exceptions, to request deletion of your information.
